Guide Review - ECCI TrackStar 6000
This is the most configurable wheel available. You can change the wheel angle, turning resistance, return to center strength, overall lock-to-lock distance, pedal angle, tension and a whole lot more. It will take you a day or two to get everything "just right" but you'll have every adjustment that you need to make it perfect.
The large 13 1/2 inch leather wheel gives more precise control than a smaller wheel and the monopoint cam and ball bearing steering shaft is as smooth and precise as a BMW.
They also have a fluid damping system available as an option. The FLDS provides speed sensitive resistance. The faster you turn the wheel the more resistance the wheel provides. In practice this really feels natural and just enhances the realism.
The pedals are set in a drop-down design that have a much more realistic angle and feel than any mass-produced wheel on the market.
The optional progressive modulated brake system is incredible. Your car's brake pedal gets stiffer and more responsive the harder you push, the Trackstar 6000 with the optional PMB II system has the exact same feel. I had to re-train my feet to use it, but within a few hours I was faster than ever.
If you want the best PC wheel then the ECCI Trackstar 6000 is it. Simply the best quality, configurability, and overall feel. There is nothing else even close.
