2012 Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season finds its stride this weekend with the first "cookie-cutter" race of the year. Last year Carl Edwards did his famous backflip after a convincing win based on pit strategy. Who will come out on top in 2012?

After an early-season week off the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup stars are back in action this week for the third race of the season. Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts their only NEXTEL Cup race of the season this week with the 2006 UAW-Daimler Chrysler 400. The wide speedway has hosted blowouts and thrilling finishes. 2006 Dodge Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway
Twice each season the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup stars get to test their road racing skills. This weekend the Dodge Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California will test the drivers' ability to turn right. Road racing is a completely different skill than oval racing. Some drivers are very good at it and some are very bad. There will be many off-track excursions for some drivers and some great skill shown by others.
2005 Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway
We started this journey in Daytona more than nine months ago. Now it all comes down to this. One last race in each of the top three series to determine the Championship. 2006 Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington Raceway
Darlington Raceway is the great-grandaddy of the modern day NASCAR Superspeedway and "The Lady in Black" has never looked better. This weekend's 2006 Dodge Charger 500 on Saturday night set a new record for the earliest sellout ever. The racing here is great and the fans know it. Winning here takes a combination of speed, skill, handling, patience and strategy. Who will beat "The Track Too Tough To Tame" this year?
2006 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge at Lowes Motor Speedway
The NASCAR NEXTEL Cup stars come into the 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star Challenge with a win-or-wreck attitude. There are no points on the line this weekend but there is a $1,000,000 payday for the winner. This made-for-TV event is a 90-lap three-segment dash for cash. There is little time for patience and strategy. Drivers need to go all out, get to the front and collect the win.
2005 Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway
Texas Motor Speedway sees top speeds of over 200MPH and fast laps average better than 194MPH. Texas also has a history of many cautions which keeps the field bunched for close racing. You can never quite predict what kind of race Texas will produce, but with only three races left in the 2005 Chase you can bet that it will be worth watching. Here is the full preview of the Dickies 500.
2005 Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway
There are only two races remaining in the 2005 Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and all eyes are focused on the drivers at the head of the pack. Tony Stewart leads by 38 points over Jimmie Johnson and the Championship will likely be decided between them. This weekend's Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway will be critical in deciding The Chase.
2005 UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowes Motor Speedway
This Saturday night's UAW-GM Quality 500 is the only race in the 2005 Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup running at night in primetime. Can point leader Tony Stewart keep up his torrid pace or will another driver in The Chase be able to make his move towards the NEXTEL Cup?
2006 Gatorade Duel at Daytona
The Gatorade Duel at Daytona is a set of two 150-mile races that set the final starting lineup for the Daytona 500. With all of the big names guaranteed a starting spot in the Daytona 500 don't look for too much excitement up front during these two traditional Thursday races.

2006 Coca-Cola 600 at Lowes Motor Speedway
For the last three years Jimmie Johnson has won the Coca-Cola 600. In fact, in the last two years no other driver has won a points race at Lowes Motor Speedway. 2006 Samsung/RadioShack 500 at Texas Motor Speedway

This place is fast and has a history of providing some great finishes. Who will come out on top in the 2006 Samsung/RadioShack 500 at Texas Motor Speedway? Here are the full preview and predictions for this week's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race.
2006 Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway
For the second time in 2006 the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers will race on a superspeedway. The massive 2.6 mile Talladega Superspeedway is the only other track (besides Daytona) that forces drivers to race with the horsepower-limiting restrictor plates. The plates make aerodynamics more important than anything else. This causes big drafting packs and a small mistake by any one driver can cause "The Big One" the big multi-car wreck that too often characterizes racing at Talladega.
2006 Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway
This week Richmond International Raceway will host the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup series for the 2006 Crown Royal 400. This race is a Saturday night short track shootout under the lights. Richmond is a fantastic raceway that allows two full grooves of racing, lots of passing and plenty of action. This race is worth planning your weekend around.
