David Reutimann:

David Reutimann signed with the Waltrip family back in 2004 to drive Toyota Trucks for Darrell Waltrip in the Craftsman Truck Series. He won the Craftsman Truck Rookie of the Year honors that year. In 2007 he moved into the Cup Series with Michael Waltrip Racing.

Reutimann struggled along with MWR during the early part of his Cup career. The team and he have shown steady progress and Reutimann is now running up front more often.

He picked up his first career Sprint Cup victory by playing the rain perfectly in the 2009 Coca-Cola 600. Will that success lead to more wins or was that simply once-in-a-lifetime luck? Time will tell.
