Guide Review - The Reedy Series - 5 photo books covering the NASCAR stars of 2004
This series covers five drivers:
Each page of the book unfolds to provide plenty of room for the beautiful photos inside. Some pages unfold out to provide almost 20 inches of space across. Other pages open upwards to create a nearly 14x10 photo space.
The unique format provides a lot of fun the first time through the book. You just never know what stunning imagery awaits you at every turn. However, it is difficult to "flip through" the book to find a particular image. I also had trouble a couple of times figuring out which direction a page wanted to be unfolded.
Along with those excellent photos, the text tells the story of the 2004 season for that driver. It touches on the highlights for each driver, how they got into The Chase and race-by-race how they fared in the final ten races.
Overall these books are very good. The photography is excellent and the writing is very well done. If the unique fold-out format, which can seem a bit fiddly, doesn't bother you then you will love having these in your collection.
