In 2007 NASCAR will begin to introduce the Car of Tomorrow. It will see action in 16 races this season, 26 races in 2008 and then for all races from 2009 on.
When NASCAR switches to the Car of Tomorrow Dodge will be switching models. The "classic" Dodge NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race car will remain the Charger, however Dodge's Car of Tomorrow will be based on the 2008 Dodge Avenger.
