The 2008 3M Performance 400 presented by Bondo at Michigan International Speedway had big implications for the the 2008 Chase. Carl Edwards scored the win to earn ten more bonus points and cut his Chase deficit to just 40 points.
At the end of the race Carl Edwards made the most of his lead and the clean air out front. He survived a couple of late race restarts and rolled home to the easy win.
