How many times have we seen this same story line? Jeff Gordon has a mediocre car at the start. Steadily improves it throughout the day and then is unstoppable at the end of the race. Over the last few years this has happened over and over again.

The credit all goes to Ray Evernham. Think back, can anyone remember a time that Ray made the wrong decision? Race after race, Pit or don't pit, two tires versus four versus gas-and-go. Ray Evernham has never made the wrong decision.

(Do you remember an Evernham mistake? Make your case on the bulletin board)

Ray Evernham could make a Winston Cup Champion out of anybody.

Have a long list of Ray Evernham's errors? Stop by the bulletin boards and let the world know what you think. Or you can swing by the chat room Wednesday night from 8-9pm EST to talk about this and anything else NASCAR.
