The Real Contenders

Jamie McMurray is certainly not your average rookie. When was the last time we had a rookie candidate who already had a Winston Cup victory to his credit? Driving for a brand new Chip Ganassi team Jamie will dive into the Winston Cup season as teammate to Sterling Marlin and fellow rookie campaigner Casey Mears. Jamie is incredibly talented and Ganassi knows how to put together a winning team.

Greg Biffle brings one of the most impressive resumes into this year's rookie battle. 1998 Truck Series Rookie of the Year, 2000 Truck Series Champion, 2001 BGN Rookie of the Year, 2002 Busch Series Champion are the recent highlights.
