Top Row Seat - Sister Stitches Review
Every once in a while I run across a unique NASCAR collectible that I need to share with you. Sister Stitches in Wise, Virginia have created "Racing Memories" which is a line of individually signed and numbered NASCAR quilts.
"Created for the racing fan that cherishes the history of the sport and is dedicated to its preservation" these machine-stitched and hand-quilted wall hangings incorporate computer printed pictorals that celebrate the drivers, legends and race tracks of NASCAR.
Measuring approximately 55 inches by 40 inches the black and white checkered backing is 50% cotton and 50% polyester while the face is 100% cotton and the filling is 100% durable polyester. Each quilt is a limited edition and includes a matching Certificate of Authenticity which is signed by the seamstress and numbered to match the signature and number on the quilt itself.

Currently there are three different NASCAR quilts available. One features Bristol Motor Speedway and includes a history of the track as well as a section of "track facts." The highlight of this quilt are the nearly 20 images of the track including images from the past and present that show the dramatic transformation this beautiful facility has undergone.
Other quilts in the series include Bobby Hamilton, "The Legend" Bobby Allison and the new Bill Elliott quilt.
For the home, office or "race room" these quilts can add a splash of color and some racing knowledge to any area. No matter which one you choose you are sure to treasure these heirlooms for many years.
