bump draft

Definition: (verb) When one driver pulls up behind another and actually pushes the front car. This technique will make both cars faster. Used mostly during restrictor plate races.

Note: This type of contact is dangerous and makes both cars difficult to control. Some drivers don't like it.

Pronunciation: bump draft
Examples:
Mike and Tony bump drafted in order to catch up with the leaders.
