Guide Review - "Dynasties - Legendary Families of Stock Car Racing"

More than any other sport NASCAR seems to thrive on its famous names. The legendary names of NASCAR's history are also the great names of its current superstars.

Frank Moriarty's latest stock car racing book looks into the famous families of NASCAR. Included are the France, Flock, Baker, Petty, Jarrett, Marlin, Allison, Wood, Earnhardt, Waltrip, Parrott, Elliott, Bodine, Wallace, Andretti, Burton and Labonte families.

It is a quick read with very little in-depth information about the drivers or the sport. A new NASCAR fan might find the book useful as an overview of NASCAR's great families and the pictures are excellent but I believe that any seasoned NASCAR veteran would quickly become bored with this book.
