The Bottom Line
Overall, this is a great read. If you are a Jr. fan you must read it. If you're just a race fan it's still a great book. I'm not a Jr. fan but I honestly found this book hard to put down.

Guide Review - "Driver #8" by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
In Dale Earnhardt Jr's new book "Driver #8" Little 'E' gives readers an all-access pass into his world. If you've ever wondered what kind of superstar life these guys lead this book will let you follow Jr. around for a full year.
Race-by-race Jr tells stories of the ups and downs of the 2000 Winston Cup season in his own words. Each chapter covers one week of the season. His very first Daytona 500, his first win, racing while sick in Michigan, getting banged around by the black #3 car (also known as "Dad"), for the rookie title and much, much more.
I have never been a big fan of Dale Jr, but I really found this book hard to put down. Little E really calls 'em the way he sees 'em in this book.
