NASCAR drivers A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose had teamed up with Oswaldo Negri Jr., John Pew and Justin Wilson for the 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona. Allmendinger was behind the wheel and in the lead when the race's final full-course caution flew with just over an hour to go in the race. They had a strong race but the win wasn't to be theirs.
Juan Pablo Montoya drove the final leg of the 24 hour marathon to take the win along with teammates Scott Pruett, Memo Rojas and Charlie Kimball. This was a record setting Rolex 24 which featured an incredible 74 lead changes.
Congratulations to car Owner Chip Ganassi, NASCAR star Juan Pablo Montoya and the rest of the team for carrying the NASCAR colors high during this prestigious road racing event.
