Can Jimmie Johnson Break His Michigan Streak?

This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup stars return to Michigan International Speedway for the 2010 CARFAX 400. Michigan is unique as it is one of very few race tracks where Jimmie Johnson has never won a Sprint Cup race.

In 2009 Jimmie Johnson was on the verge of winning in June when he ran out of gas on the last lap leaving the win for Mark Martin.  In August of 2009 Johnson was again leading the race in the closing laps when he ran out of gas coming to take the two-to-go signal.

Denny Hamlin dominated Michigan when we were here in June.   Can Jimmie finally get the win that eluded him in 2009 or will Denny Hamlin complete the Michigan sweep?

No way. If he wins the Chapionship this year, everybody will no for sure that it is fixed. I sure hope Harvick gets it this year. It would not bother me if Jeff Gordon got his 5th.
