GM Cuts Nationwide / Truck Support
What does this really mean? Factory support typically only is provided to the larger teams so the smaller outfits will not likely see any changes. However larger organizations like Rusty Wallace's and Kevin Harvick's teams will see the flow of engines, research, engineering and even cold hard cash from General Motors come to an end while GM restructures under their Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
This change will definitely hurt the larger GM teams and give the other manufacturers an advantage in the Nationwide and Truck series. Can Sprint Cup cuts be far behind?

Of course they’re going to cut support for all of racing. How else can they afford to pay CEO’s and managers a 10 million a year salery and a 20 million dollar bonus for driving the company BANKRUPT???
Oh, so the CEO of Government Motors, Hussein Obama, is not a racing fan.
Oh well, I’m not a fan of Government Motors.
AMEN … I drive Ford’s … but feel sorry for GM sponsored auto owners/drivers. NASCAR needs to get rid of COT and let owners/drivers get back-in-the days of racing. To many controls by NASCAR and now the government interests.
My concern has never been about a CEO making a paycheck, It has been about the end consumer
Paying a few grand extra per Truck/car to pay fat amounts to a over paid team/driver!
I’m glad it has come down to the company being held acountable For wasting millions!
Maybe NASCAR will finaly see that the biggest
sport needs a real buget, Just Like GM!!
Ticket pricing and payout’s and so on are way out of control.
U can always drive ur foreign Rig and cry about how U don’t make enough money and there arent enough jobs in the USA!
Grats to mark on another win, Oh yeah he has won more money with these three wins this yr then he made his first 10 yrs racing, Now u tell me its not out of control!!
