2008 Sprint Cup Banquet Shows Progress

The 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup awards banquet was held on Friday night. NASCAR's top drivers gathered in New York City to honor Jimmie Johnson and his Hendrick Motorsports team on their third consecutive Sprint Cup Championship.
This year's banquet was an improvement over previous events. Overall I liked the show. However there are still some things that I would like to change. What did you think of the 2008 banquet?

I think you need a new hobby, Fred. You could start by going hunting, say, like for your caps lock key.
In any event, Costner was horrible (except for his story about Richard Petty riding in the passenger seat) but the female voice over announcer has simply got to go. She was worse this year than last (is it Krista Voda? I’m not sure).

The female announcer was terrible. The comedian wasn’t good either, or the band. Couldn’t Nascar hire a comedian like Ellen DeGeneres, at least she can make someone laugh. Hire a Country & Western band, Nascar was from the South.
The female announcer was trying to sound sexy, but she sounded like she was in pain. Didn’t see the point of Kevin Costner being there. The comedian was not good and the program director needs some direction. I can see why the major tv networks didn’t want to have the banquet on their channels. This was the worst, too stiff, no personality at all.
didn’t like the adwards this year. the voice over was bad, the comic was alful, I didn’t find him funny at all. what happened with telling what the winings for the top drivers were? I only heard the number one driver being given. If this doesn’t get better next year I won’t waste my time watching it.
Does any one know where i can find a copy of the show. I was supposed to record it for my father in law, and I forgot.
