2008 Chase for the Cup Drivers
Monday September 15, 2008
The first race of the 2008 Chase for the Cup is complete. The Chase standings look a lot different today than they did last week as Kyle Busch has fallen from the top spot for the first time in months.
The other two pre-Chase favorites Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson share the point lead after one race while at the back of the top twelve one driver's Championship dreams are already dashed while another is hanging on by a thread. Check out the current 2008 Chase standings.

What has happened to Jeff Gordon, he seems to havelost his nerve after getting married, and becoming a father, if he thinks he’s already made enough money to retire on, then get out of the way and let someone with guts, and the nerve to be a competitor drive the 24 car. It’s rather boring watching someone who goes around the track and really not racing, where is the excitement in this, as a fan I want to see some real racing, he used to have the talent but now it’s as if he is just showing up at the track to collect a check. RIGHT YOU ARE DDAN, AND YOUR COMMENTS COULD BE APPLIED TO 15 OR 20 OTHER DRIVERS, THEY JUST DRIVE IN CIRCLES, COLLECT THEIR MONEY AND GO HOME. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR EXCITEMENT YOU BETTER LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I think these guys are under alot of pressure but they do let it go to their heads. I think Dale JR will win what about you. Have you seen his new chase site?
