This weekend the NASCAR Sprint Cup stars get to enjoy their last weekend off of the 2008 season. The series will race every week from next week's Brickyard 400 through the Ford 400 in Homestead on November 16. This is our last chance to reflect before the Race to the Chase steals the spotlight and leads directly into the 2008 Chase for the Cup and the crowning of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion.
The 2008 NASCAR season is about to heat up. Kyle Busch is the obvious favorite to win the Championship but the Chase format will erase most of his current point lead. Will he continue his charge and claim the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship for Toyota in only their second season?

Well, The reset is about here and now is where if I were a sponser I would pull all funding on any car not in the Chase!
Lets face it, The Sponsers dont get the bang for there buck from here on out!
Since theres 40 plus cars and only 10 can win the series I think the rest should stay home and save there much needed funds for next year!
Things change fast,Just look at the egg Dale jr. has on his face, Sets up a whold division for the Navy just to have em walk out on him!
So Good luck to whom ever wins the chase and sorry for those who have to be fillers the last 10 races as you dont deserve a shot at the title acording to NASCAR!

Great articles! I used to be a huge NASCAR fan, but something in the last several years has pushed me away. Mostly, it’s the over-the-top shows and drama-focused news coverage. NASCAR has drifted away from its roots and that’s why the ratings are dipping and the fanbase shrinking. People want to see good ol’ American racing/bumping/crashing and fun! Plus, what’s the flavor of the month Cup series for next year? The Viagra Cup?
