Kurt Busch Wins Rain Shortened New Hampshire Race

Monday June 30, 2008
The 2008 Lenox Industrial Tools 301 didn't make it the full scheduled distance. Mother Nature took over with just 17 laps remaining and the race was called due to rain. Kurt Busch did not have the fastest car but his team played the strategy perfectly and he walked away with the win.

The big story of the day was the incident between Juan Pablo Montoya and Kyle Busch. These two famous hotheads got together on the track yesterday and created some fireworks. Their battled ended with an intentional wreck when Montoya turned Busch around under caution.

NASCAR normally hands out penalties on Tuesday. Do you think they deserve a penalty for their actions?

AS KURT SAID IT WASN’T THE BEST WAY TO WIN BUT IT WAS A WIN NONE THE LESS. I DIDN’T SEE THE EARLIER BUMPS BETWEEN JUAN AND KYLE BUT I DID SEE THE TAKEOUT BY JUAN DURING THE CAUTION WHICH WAS SO OBVIOUS HE COULDN’T DENY IT WAS INTENTIONAL SO I IMAGINE HE AT LEAST WILL GET SLAPPED ON THE WRIST OR SOMETHING UNLESS NASCAR DECIDES TO GET TOUGH WHICH THEY SOMETIMES DO LIKE MAYBE A FINE OF A COUPLE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. WITH NASCAR YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY WILL DO.
