Kyle Busch Avoids the Wrecks to Claim Infineon Victory

Sunday June 22, 2008
The Sprint Cup stars demonstrated today that road racing is not their bread and butter. The end of the 208 Toyota / Save Mart 350 saw way too many wrecks as both the Sprint Cup stars and the road racing ringers had trouble slowing down for the corners and keeping off of each other.

Kyle Busch discovered that the best way to keep his car in one piece was to be in the lead. Busch lead the most laps today and was able to put together a string of strong late-race restarts and cruise home for the Infineon Raceway win.

Yes Kyle missed all the wrecks, and for once he didn’t cause four or five with his haphazard style of driving.
