Joey Logano Poised to Take NASCAR by Storm

NASCAR rules state that you must be at least 18 years old to race in the top three touring series. Last weekend in Kentucky Joey Logano became the youngest driver to ever win a NASCAR Nationwide series event. Logano was just 21 days past his 18th birthday.
This Joe Gibbs Racing star is generating a lot of media attention but it is justified. As Mark Martin said, Joey Logano is "the real deal." Joe Gibbs has a true superstar on his hands here. If Tony Stewart decides to leave at the end of 2008 this youngster could get his shot at Sprint Cup racing in 2009. Logano has unlimited potential in NASCAR.
Get used to hearing his name. Joey Logano will be a NASCAR star for many years to come.

Joey is only 6 months older than me and it is great to see him breakthrough! He really should be in cup right now, but NASCAR put in that stupid age rule. All it did was prevent Kyle Busch from NASCAR for a couple years, and now look at him.
Anyway about Joey, Mark
Martin is usually right and from what we have all seen of Joey is that Mark Martin IS RIGHT. Joey is the real deal. In fact, he does well on all tracks, including the road courses. I watched a Camping World race on tv at Sonoma last year and he absoulutely destroyed the competition.
Kyle is getting an F1 test this year and if he does well he will be offered contract as a full time tester(which I doubt he will, Kyle is good but he would have to COMPLETELY change his driving style to drive in F1, in other words, he would have to learn to pace himself) That would open up the 18 car for Joey and he can pick up where Kyle left off.
Wait, why is Toyota giving Kyle the F1 test? They should give it to Joey, his driving style is perfect for F1. He is fast and he maintains that quickness without trying to push more out of the car than it is capable of every lap.
Anyway, I’m sure Joey will bring new light to NASCAR. He will be proof that the driver is the most important factor in a race car. It will be like when Jeff Gordon came in, he will make NASCAR more popular than ever.
As I said before, after watching this kid race in the remax searies, he is going to be something!!!
Does anyone remember (other than me) that there is a roomer going around that JGR is planing to go to a 4 car team in 2010? THis would seem to go along with this kid moving up to Sprint Cup!
As for my man Tony, I can see why he might be looking for greener pastures if JGR isn’t planing on a 4 car team!
I hope this young man doesn’t let his success go to his head as it has for Kyle Bush, that would be a shame & make me stop shearing for him!!!

I think folks would actually listoen to Tony’s whining if he ever regains his status as a contender.
For now he is just a malcontent who probably should retire and make room for someone who won’t whine all the time.

Thought the subject was suppose to be about Joey guys. I think Joey is the real thing and the key thing is like mick20 said as long as he doesnt let it go to his head like Kyle Bush. Always remember you are doing a JOB you happen to love and if you have to hurt and destroy others to get to the top, then you aren’t mature enough to hang with the big boys!!!!
Joey who? Iknow its good to be excited but dont crown him king or compare him to gordon he still has to prove him self. Sure hes talented but so are 43 other drivers.

Tony Stewart is a joke. I DO NOT like him at all. Joey has a lot of talent. In my opinion, Joey has more talent then Kyle Busch
I think he is going to do great and it would be even better if he could get into the sprint cup next year….
