Kyle Busch Tames Tough Darlington

Saturday May 10, 2008
Darlington Raceway is known as "The Track Too Tough to Tame." New pavement caused the speeds to increase dramatically but this was still the same old Darlington. "The Lady in Black" was as tough as ever.

Kyle Busch showed no fear tonight as he attacked the tricky egg-shaped race track all night long. Busch's aggression caused him to bounce his car off the wall but he barely slowed down. He also suffered a pit road penalty for a missing lug nut and dropped to 23rd place. However he was able to battle back from these problems and claim the 2008 Dodge Challenger 500 victory in dominating style.

kyle’s performance at Richmond was another one of his ” me me me ” his over zealous attitude and actions are way out of line — guess he doesn’t have any idea of what true sportsmanship is about — it is not the win — it is having respect for others - and doing what it is right.

VALARIA?? are you like for real?
What does hitting the wall 3 times along with coming from the rear to win the toughest race of the year by 4 seconds and Oh almost forgot with no brakes You and people like you are morons and need to get a reality check

I dont care if hes overzealous or shows disrespect for certain drivers
He is without a doubt head and shoulders above any driver on the citcut when it comes to raw take no prisoner talent and its very refreshing to see,The only entertainment we get these days is when hes involved evertone else is too busy kissing butt

Way to go KYLE. Just watch him drive. He can drive anywhere on the track and switch grooves immediately. No other driver can do that as successfully as he does. OH AND RICHMOND!!!! Look at it again. Yes Kyle went into JR. Jr was going around anyway. He was loose and duckin down. Kyle went in hard and rear end comin around too.
ANYONE, that has ever went around an oval knows, when the rear goes loose, the front wheels turn INTO THE SKID. That is the picture of Kyle/JR at Richmond

(9) Smoke62 says:

The boy has talent, no doubt, and when he wins, it’s not always because he slams someone out of the way. Even Jr. admitted that he may have squeezed him a little tight at Richmond. I’m surprised noone is crying because he hit the wall. Maybe that’s an unfair advantage. LOL!!! Maybe all you Kyle haters out there should take a look at his driving style. He only knows one speed, wide open. He’s not trying to wreck anyone. Good win Kyle.

Kind of reminds me of my old racing days in the pacific north west.A guy by the name of Don Dowdy. No one could beat him because he had talant and balls and he won all the time and everyone hated him for that Go figure?
KB is duh man no matter what the whiners say

DAN, GET A GRIP YOURSELF, RACEING IS ABOUT WINNING AND GOOD DRIVING WHICH IS WHAT KYLE DID ON SAT NITE. IF YOU GO ONTO THE TRACK TO MAKE FRIENDS YOUR IN THE WRONG PLACE.

Hey Dan!!
I think your the one who needs to get a grip!!I built and raced cars in the NWT.for 20 years.I crashed a car in denver and wore a halo(c2 fracture) for 14 weeks and it took 2 years for my broken leg to heal.dont tell me what to watch or do.This KB kid is the real meal.Respect? I think its time the good ole boys better start showing some regard for KB.When I ran short track it was dog eat dog.You run hard and fast or you finish last.KB is a refreshing reminder just how exciting this sport used to be before idiots like you came along

Way to go Kyle…you remind me of the INTIMIDATOR when he was young.

(18) Wolf says:

Hey, I wish Kyle was still with Hendricks and Dale Jr. would’ve went elsewhere, it just doesn’t seem right that Junior and Gordon are on the same team and Kyle was a asset to Hendricks, bad boy or not, no worse than Gordon. I’m for Jimmie Johnson all the way but Kyle was always second runner up so no matter where he he, contrats bad boy, that’s why I like you so much, you’re in there to race and Dale Sr. did a whole lot worse than you did on the track. You’re having a great year so far, if you take the title, I’ll have no bad feelings but Hendricks you made a darn big mistake!

May 15, 2008 at 4:48 pm
(19) EGH says:

All these KB haters are obviously envious of his driving skills. That pretty boy
Dale Jr. can’t hold his jock strap. KB wins, Dale Jr. doesn’t.
