2008 Darlington Preview
Thursday May 8, 2008
"The Track Too Tough To Tame" will feature a new look this weekend. A fresh coat of pavement since we last visited has provided a smoother racing surface, more grip and higher speeds.
What happens when you take an already demanding oval and turn up the speeds? We will all find out together this weekend as the Sprint Cup series visits Darlington Raceway for the 2008 Dodge Challenger 500.

Darlington the new lady in black, can we expect the unexpected.Who will be the first to get a stripe? Who will be the first to crash? More importantly, who will finish first, aaand win the race?I hope JJ and the Magic Man [HO HO HOPE its a wonderful thing]Think Pink this month…………Lets have fun…………
Did anyone watch the Nationwide race last night? Again Kyle ran out of talant & wanted to blame someone else. Maybe if he badmouths enouph drivers he won’t finish a race for the rest of the season! Wouldn’t that be a shame!!!
The track however, seemed to stand up to it’s name allbeit there werw fewer flags than normal except for the two red ones. It was a good race & I am looking forward to tonights race with the car of today!
Go Tony Go
Hey, concerning the “Gibbswide” race:Does anyone else find it kinda weird that toyota coulding do much last year, but now that gibbs is in toyota, they have won 5 in a row in the nationwide series–kinda sounds funny to me–hey if it was a chevy or ford or dodge for that matter (from the same team mind you)that won 5 in a row everyone would be yelling “fixed”. why is it that toyota gets a pass on this?? by the way, it would make me happy to see anyone but toyota win one!!!!!!
Oh, sorry about the typo–i meant to say couldn’t not coulding!!!
