Carl Edwards Continues Cookie Cutter Domination

Sunday April 6, 2008
Carl Edwards lead the most laps today at Texas Motor Speedway and managed to make even a green-white-checkers overtime finish boring. Jimmie Johnson and the rest of the Sprint Cup crowd tried to put up a fight but Edwards had them covered when it mattered. Edwards cruised to an easy win in the 2008 Samsung 500. This was Edwards' third win of the season. All three of which have come on 1.5 or 2 mile 'D' shaped ovals.

Drivers struggled to get a handle on the tricky Texas Motor Speedway today. The Sprint Cup stars were forced to battle the race track instead of each other. This made for long green flag runs and not much excitement for the fans.

Hell yes, Carl is without a doubt the best driver on the circuit right now! Thats 3 wins already and I wont be surprised if he has at least ten or more when its all said and done.

It was nice to see Johnson get back on pace though.
