What a difference a year makes.How bout those Toyotas? I look for all Toyos to be very competitive in Cali this week.Obviously the Gibbs bunch with years of engineering info has helped everyone.It was a disapointment that Neuman/Busch were 1-2,and actually Larry Mac said during speedweeks that the Penske cars were worth keeping an eye on.
I, too, think that Toyota will have a big impact in California. I don’t think that last week was a fluke though. There was alot of luck and skill involved in Penske’s win. If Kyle hadn’t jumped the gun a little, Tony and Kyle would have finished 1 and 2 I believe. Don’t take anything away from Ryan and Kurt though. They showed what being a team is all about.My hat is off to them.
Hm COT’S Well.. It was a breathe of fresh air to have Ryan Newman Win!!
Rain is forecast for the race time In Sunny California Hm
Maybe they can race hovercrafts?? LOL
)
Let’s see, COT at California. Or in other words, a boring car at a boring track. I think I will pass.
I know the drivers love tracks like California and Michigan because they are wide and smooth and you can drive almost anywhere on the track, but from a fans perspective, I find it a little boring.
I agree with Camaroman! COT & SHAKEYSTATE makes for a *POTENTIALLY* boring race. I dont pretend to have the stats, but it seems like the Roush boys do pretty well at Cali. if I remember right. Even if my memory is way off, Im banking on a FORD this weekend. Likely Matt. Biff is a worthwhile bet also.
What the heck’s up with nascar? I know this is off subject, but.???…I am no Robbie Gordon fan, but you have got to be kidding me!!!! If this was Jeff, Jimmie , Jr , or Smoke I’d feel the same. The only thing different are the stickers–not a single advantage at all–a mistake make because of the manufacturer–not to cheat or gain an advantage. Nascar really went overboard on this one because they dislike Robbie–hey he’s not the most liked guy in nascar–.But still they did WRONG and personally I think they should drop it and now. I know opinions are like buttholes, they differ. But if you don’t voice dislike on this one to nascar you must not care if this happens to your driver-*-its totally wrong what they did–not a bit of doubt.
I think the Dodge cars are going to be awesome this year,exspecially Kasey Kahne!!
