The All-Positive NASCAR Thread

We all like to find fault with NASCAR and bash them for their decisions. However if there wasn't still something in the sport that we loved we wouldn't be here on a NASCAR website.
In the spirit of the season this post is only for positive comments. Negative posts will be deleted. Lets remember why we love this sport and continue to spend many Sunday afternoons watching cars drive in a circle. What is it that you love about NASCAR?

All I want to say is I Love Nascar and all the Fans that support it..It’s not just about the races,It’s about a country all pulling together to share the love of the sport.With the United States going in way to many directions,Nascar may be just what we need to hold together are National Heritage.God Bless America-God Bless Nascar
The ways that NASCAR, its drivers, owners, sponsors and foundations give back to the communities in the form of charity is truly commendable. I’ve never seen a group of athletes with a more open heart and more open check book, and more honest about the whole process. I give, now, through them, a lot more than I used to, and for that, I thank them for being such pillars of the communities which they serve.
I love the diverse nature of the sport. Each team is striving for the same goal at the end of the season. But every individual can still be themselves along the way. Each driver brings something special to the race each week. Crews and crew-chiefs make the car as good as they can and compete with eachother on a different level than the drivers do on the track. Yet it is all for the same goal.
I love it all!
I only go to 1 race a year now, but I still love the sound of 43 cars the 1st time they come around at speed. There is nothing else like the sounds and smells of the race while its goin’ on !
What do I like about NASCAR? Maybe ALMOST everything!! Maybe ALMOST nothing!! But this one thing I love for sure. Everyone that answers these blogs!! We all have diverse opinions, we at times disagree. We all come together in the end and either agree or “AGREE TO DISAGREE” either way by the end of the blog we always end up in a good place with each other.
All this shows the loving kindness in all our hearts. And because of our “PASSION” for our sport and the love in our heart, we realize that COMRADEREE for fellow man is more important than a silly opinion that might actually be wrong.
I know some people get sick of it, but right now I’m quite literally counting the days til I hear DW let loose with a “Boogity Boogity Boogity”! I love Darrell Waltrip and others like him because they love the sport so much, they’re kind of like kids about it. They’re not ashamed to jump up and down and scream when they feel like it, just like I’m always proud of my monday bruises and hoarseness from falling off the couch when there’s a sudden crash and yelling at the TV all weekend. =)
Nascar fans loves there sundays fast.I would like to thank all the divers that put on a show for us all. They put there lifes on the line every time they get in a car for our pleasure.
Like Morgan473, I can hardly wait for the return of Fox to Nascar. Because I can’t say anything negative, suffice to say that the guys will be welcomed back with open arms in this house!!
What I love most about NASCAR is that my son and I spend Sunday afternoons together (sometimes Saturday nights) and watch the races together. He’s a 24 fan and I’m a 20 fan, so we talk a lot of smack, but it’s a lot of fun. We both root for the same teams in football and baseball, so it makes it more fun that we’re “enemies” when it comes to NASCAR. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
An ALL positive thread? I’m in. I love NASCAR because of the people involved all the way from us fans up to the top. I love the speed, the cars, the spirit at a race but still it’s the people that make NASCAR a ‘family’ I want to be part of. I am very proud to be a NASCAR fan and know that one day many more people will open their minds only to find out that NASCAR is the top form of racing in the world with the most competitive and the most warm and caring people in all of motor sports. NASCAR is much more than a sport…its a family!
NASCAR is made up of people doing exactly what they love to do…people who are following their passion and reaping the rewards of living their dreams. They are all a great inspiration to others. Just imagine a world where everyone was doing a job they loved and felt fortunate to be doing…
My family has been racing since before I was born, so you could say its in my blood. My grandpaw, dad, both of my brothers and I have been behind the wheel at one point or another in our lifes. So as a driver I understand that there are things about cirtin tracks and there management that everyone will disagree with at one point or another. At my local track in Meridian Idaho I have watched people livid, and just short of throwing blows with track officials, other drivers or track management. But one thing I have always seen, is that in the end an agreement is made and problems get resolved. Weather it involves management or rule changes, or even a fist fight and a few suspensions handed out.
In all of this I have concluded that if you dont have a few disagrements and some bent fenders, its not much of a sport. There is so much passion in racing, and this is just a testament to the love we have for this sport. So weather your critcisum is posotive or negative at least we are still there watching, or racing, or even managing. So for my positive coment for NASCAR. You guys have been puting on some kick ass racing for over 50 years, and no matter how much I wine and complane, I will keep watching. Just remenber to keep your ears open because some of us may have a good idea or two.
The speed, the smell of fuel, the amazing rumble at the start, the bright colors–what’s not to like??

I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
