Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby was just released on DVD in time for the holiday season. Is it worth picking one up for yourself or as a gift? In case you missed it on the big screen and are wondering whether or not to the DVD is worthwhile here is my review from this summer hit.

NASCAR SHOULD WATCH IT AND REMEMBER WHAT RICKY BOBBY SAID, “IF YOU AIN’T FIRST, YOUR LAST”
I never use this word, but Talladega Nights sucked!!!!!enuf said.
This honestly has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life! I am so glad I didn’t pay good money to see it at the theatre, but instead only wasted 4 bucks to rent it.
what was the type of car that Ricky Bobby’s daddy drove?
and by the way I thought it was a cute movie. Nothing exceptial but fun
This is the BEST MOVIE!!! How can you not like good american comedy?
Talladega Nights had one or two laughs, but for the most part it was without any humor. It was boring and boorish. I kept expecting it to get better–it never did. My husband was so disgusted with it, he walked out and he usually loves tacky movies.
I expected it to be on the same or even better caliber as “My name is Earl”. Not even close. I give Earl and A and Talladega as low a score as possible. Way less than an F
I should have followed my husband’s lead and turned off the DVD and spent my time better by watching paint dry
If you are a NASCAR fan, you might enjoy the racing scenes. I am not and even I saw some bloopers in the movie. It seems the producers didn’t even care enough to take them out.–but if they had it wouldn’t have improved the movie–so I can see why they didn’t bother
