The 2006 Chase For The Cup visited Atlanta Motor Speedway today for the 2006 Bass Pro Shops 500. Tony Stewart was the man to beat today as he was fast both during the day and after the sun set. Stewart rolled home for the comfortable victory.
The point battle was hot coming into today. Matt Kenseth retained the lead with another top-five finish but this is still a very close battle as the top five drivers are still just 84 points apart with three races remaining in the 2006 season. Will Kenseth hold on to win it all in 2006?
