The Chase Goes Plate Racing

This weekend the 2006 Chase For The Cup visits Talladega Superspeedway for the only restrictor plate race in The Chase. This race is often called the "Wild Card" race because virtually anything can happen here. The pack runs so close together all day that any driver can have his Chase dreams go end-over-end in an instant without ever making a mistake or even knowing what went wrong.

Last year this race saw two of the multi-car wrecks known as "The Big One" that dampened the dreams of many Chasers. Will they race cleanly this year or will some Chasers have there Championship hopes crushed in a cloud of smoke and crunch of metal? Here is the full 2006 UAW-Ford 500 preview.
