Kasey Kahne Passes Tony Stewart For The Final NASCAR Chase Spot

Saturday September 9, 2006
The 2006 Chevy Rock 'n Roll 400 featured a thrilling finish as Kevin Harvick swept past Kyle Busch for the win late in the race. The Richmond racing surface allows for great racing and the drivers used every inch of it tonight to put on a fabulous race.

The big news of the weekend is that Kasey Kahne raced his way into The Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup at the expense of Tony Stewart. Stewart crashed in practice on Friday and was not able to recover well enough to race his way into The Chase. To Kahne's credit, he had another great run and was in position to capitalize when Stewart struggled.

This was a great show! Check out the full 2006 Chevy Rock 'n Roll 400 recap.

How does the great DEI Jr. get away with never mentioning his sponsor Budwisier when he is interviewed? Every driver that is talked with on TV says their bosses names, not Jr.

Because he is Junior, and he can get away with it I guess. He won’t win the Championship anyway…

If he only had the talent his dad had in his pinky.
