Kasey Kahne Squarely In The Spotlight

This weekend Kasey Kahne enters Richmond just 30 points out of a spot in the 2006 Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup. Kahne leads the series in wins so far in 2006 but historically hasn't been very good in the points. Kahne has never finished in the top ten in points since he entered NEXTEL Cup in 2004.

Kahne won in Richmond in 2005 and is coming off last week's strong win in California. Kasey certainly has the team and the skill to battle his way into The Chase. Will this be the year that Kahne makes his first Chase for the Cup?
