Officially there are just two parts to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup season: The Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and everything else. Unofficially the season has more segments each with its own personality, media focus and key races. This is how the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup season normally flows and what to watch for during each part of the year.
