Jeff Gordon Still King Of The Road
Sunday June 25, 2006
Jeff Gordon picked up the win in the 2006 Dodge Save Mart 350 today at Infineon Raceway. This was his fifth win at this northern California road course. There was drama near the end as Terry Labonte made the decision to stay out on old tires and stretch the fuel to the end. Gordon tracked him down and passed him easily for the win but Terry was rewarded with a top three finish for his gamble. Great racing, great strategy calls, and plenty of beating and banging made this an interesting race with something for everyone.

Gordon may not be liked by many people, but with the right team and crew chief, he can take any car and put it into victory lane
Yes, Jeff Gordon is the king. He’s absolutely of the the best ever. And without the “hot shot” ego that most of the young guns seem to have and without the success! Jeff’s the man!
I agree Jeff is the king of the road and one of the most talented drives to ever sit in a cup car. Congrats to Jeff on the win and the engagment.
