The 2006 Neighborhood Excellence 400 by Bank of America at Dover International Speedway was a very good race. The finish saw Jamie McMurray, Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth nose to tail for the win at the end. Kenseth had to pass two cars in the closing laps to take the victory.

This race could prove to be a key moment in the 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup season. Point leader Jimmie Johnson struggled for much of the day and defending Champion Tony Stewart had to get out of his car early.

Why didn’t Fox broadcast the race on Channel 45 Dayton Oh?

Officially he did start in tenth. However, he was penalized because he did not qualify the car himself and had to drop to the back of the field.

All official lineups will show that the car qualified tenth.

:) Loved watching that race. Yay, Matt! The last few laps were sit on the edge of your seat… no, forget that… jump up and help him win!

So sad for Tony.

Matt did great!
