Roush Racing team drivers won back-to-back NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Championships as Matt Kenseth won it all in 2003 and then teammate Kurt Busch won the 2004 crown. Now that Kurt has moved on to Penske South the face of Roush Racing has changed.
With one wily veteran, three fast young faces and one former Champion on the team Roush Racing is positioned for NASCAR success now, and well into the future. Here is the 2006 Roush Racing lineup.

Dear Jack Roush and members and drivers of Roush Racing,
This COT is the biggest mistake in auto racing history. It has ruined what was once stock car racing. The COT is at best, the official car of Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson, nothing more.
We must get back to racing real full sized cars… Crown Vics, Marquis, Lincolns, Cadillacs, etc. Making all cars the same sucks all the raw excitment out of the sport. Manufacturers would benefit as they once did, if real cars were on the track, racing at 200 MPH. While the Fusion may be a great economy car, no one buys a Fusion, or bought a Taurus, because of their connection with NASCAR.
The public just don’t see these vehicles as true stock/race cars. Torinos, Montegos and Galaxies were often purchased due to their connection with stock car racing. Remember “win on Sunday, buy on Monday”? Stock Car racing was at its best when Ford and Chrysler were constantly improving the design of their vehicles to win on the super speedways. Currently, race tracks, pit crews and teams like Roush Racing are the best they’ve ever been. Sadly, the cars are the worst they’ve ever been; that cancels out the great tracks, teams and pit crews. The COT is a third rate product in a first class environment. Let’s make the COT the Car of Yesterday, ASAP, hopefully they will phase it out by the end of this season, if not sooner.
Hey, As you notice, my maiden name is Roush. Have always been interested in knowing if Jack is kin. My father was Merritt Roush and he was born in Kansas. Looking at Jack, he sure has some of the same features that my dad had. Would like to have a little more background on Jack. Oh yeah and by the way, Matt Kenseth is my man.
