$364,643 Craftsman Truck Series Championship Check for Ted Musgrave

Monday December 12, 2005
On Sunday night Ted Musgrave collected his first NASCAR Championship and the $364,643 check that went along with it. The 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion boosted his season long earnings to $880,553 and moved up to third place on the all-time Truck series money list.

Ted's $3,772,884 total moves him past Ron Hornaday Jr. but he still trails Dennis Setzer and all-time series money leader Jack Sprague.

“Since awards are all about numbers, how about 3,930?” said Musgrave in addressing his fellow competitors and members of the news media during festivities at the Portofino Bay Hotel on the grounds of Universal Orlando. “Any guesses? That’s the number of days it took to finally win a championship.

“It doesn’t count how many races, sleepless nights and people it took to accomplish this goal.”

Congratulations to Ted Musgrave and the rest of the Ultra Motorsports team on a well-deserved and hard-earned Championship.
