Busch Series Crew Chief Fined, Suspended

Todd Lohse, crew chief for Shane Hmeil's #32 TrimSpa Chevy in the Busch Series found himself $10,000 poorer today and suspended for the entire month of March. This is a result of "unapproved modifications to the hinged air deflectors."

In other words it sounds like Todd was messing with the roof flaps. As we've seen before, NASCAR takes a very dim view of teams that monkey with the safety equipment. This explains the suspension. You can see the full announcement at NASCAR Online.
