Daytona International Speedway

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup preseason testing begins on Tuesday January 11th in Daytona. Odd-numbered points finishers from 2004 will take to the track this week with the even-numbered finishers testing next week. Among other things to watch for, this will be our first look at the new Dodge Charger. It is somewhat interesting to see who's fast and who's not, but don't put too much stock in testing speeds. Frequently teams don't use their best stuff until it counts.
