NEXTEL Cup Banquet Tonight

Don't forget that TNT will carry the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup awards banquet live tonight at 9pm. The banquet is scheduled to run three hours. If you miss it, NBC will have a one hour highlights show tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. These used to be interesting and lots of fun. As NASCAR's popularity has exploded and drivers became more sponsor-aware they have become over-scripted and pretty dry. Still, there are usually enough entertaining moments to make it worth your time. Plus, this is the last chance to see live NASCAR until February!
