Dover International Speedway

Friday September 24, 2004
This weekend the fast one-mile concrete oval in Dover Delaware hosts the second race in the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup. In June Dover hosted a wild race as Ryan Newman spun while leading and a big wreck on the ensuing restart caught nineteen drivers, including most of the contenders. Mark Martin took the win that day. Who can pull off the win this weekend? How will the Cup contenders do? Will Robby Gordon get within 100 feet of any other cars? It all starts with qualifying today at 2:30.
