Gordon Starts On The Pole

At Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma, CA Jeff Gordon has once again put it on the pole. This is Jeff's second pole run in a row as he started up front last week too. Rusty Wallace will roll off second. Then Roush Racing teammates Kurt Busch, Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth round out the top five. The best road race specialists is Scott Pruett in sixth. The only real surprise of qualifying is that Robby Gordon, winner of both road races in 2003, will start Sunday's race deep in the field, Robby will take the green flag in 24th.
