Scott Wimmer Guilty Of DWI

Scott Wimmer was convicted yesterday of driving under the influence and sentenced to community service. The real question here is should a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race driver be held to a higher standard, especially when it comes to drunk driving? It remains to be seen what, if any, action NASCAR will take in response to his conviction. Also, how will owner Bill Davis and sponsor Caterpillar respond to pumping millions of dollars into his career? There are still many questions left unanswered for now but this can't be good for his promising career.
