Vote A Driver Into The 2004 NEXTEL All-Star Challenge

Wednesday May 19, 2004
On Saturday night the NEXTEL Open is the last chance for unqualified drivers to make it into the All-Star Challenge. The winner moves on, everybody else usually goes home. This year the fans get to pick one driver to automatically move into the All-Star Challenge. Go to the NASCAR.com NEXTEL All-Star Challenge Vote page and pick the driver YOU want to see race for $1,000,000.

If you look over the list of eligible drivers and can't decide I'd like to make a suggestion. How about sending Ken Schrader to the All-Star Challenge? He is one of the great personalities in NASCAR and genuinely one of the nicest guys in the garage. This would be a nice break for a team that has had a lot of hard luck in 2004.
