NBS 24/7 On Speed Worth Catching

Monday February 16, 2004
If you didn't catch the new show on Speed tonight called NBS 24/7 you missed out. This is a reality show that follows three Busch series teams around from week to week to see what it really takes to compete in NASCAR. The first episode introduced the teams, their owners, drivers and some of the crews and discussed the current state of each team. Episode two covered this years' Speed Weeks at Daytona ending with Saturday's rain delay.

Each week they will be covering all three teams from the finish of one race up to the start of the next. This really is a fascinating idea for a TV show. I think that this unique look behind the scenes in NASCAR will be very entertaining as the teams get into the grind of the season.

If you ever were interested in what it takes to race in NASCAR, what the crew members really do, and what the drivers lives are like then this show may be for you. It is a different perspective on what the NASCAR life really is. After the first two episodes I'm riveted and immediately put it into my ReplayTV to record the rest of the season for me.

It is on every Monday night after Inside NEXTEL Cup Racing (the Kenny, Johnny and Mikey show) on Speed and seems to be rerun a couple of times during the week. Check out the SpeedTV.com website for the details.
