Racism In NASCAR?

Interesting discussion in the forum as BUNTINGJ says "I have to ask.........with so many well educated and trained black technicians in the USA, why are they not seen on NASCAR teams. I've never seen even ONE?" Why is it that there are so very few minorities involved in NASCAR and how do you think NASCAR can solve the problem?

I’m asking, simply to determine fact, are there any black drivers or mechanics in NASCAR racing?

Bill Lester was the only black in Nascar lower ranks for the longest time, now he is there no more. Its ashame that we allow this racist sport to be played on our tv’s and in our country.
