Bill Elliott To Retire
Wednesday October 22, 2003
Fox Sports' Totally NASCAR is reporting that Bill Elliott will retire from full-time competition at the end of the 2003 season. Elliott will compete in only five races next year at tracks that were "significant to his career."
The changing of the guard continues as another NASCAR legend is retiring. Thankfully Awesome Bill didn't stay too long in NASCAR like other older drivers have in the past.
Even if you were a big fan of Darrell Waltrip or Richard Petty you must admit that they both should have retired long before they did.
